Preheat oven to 200ºC or 180ºC for fan oven or gas mark 6. 1. Empty bread mix into a bowl. 2. Add 400ml ordinary milk* and mix quickly. 3. Transfer to a 2lb non-stick (or pre-greased) loaf tin. 4. Smooth top with the back of a spoon and make a line with the tip of a knife lengthwise down the centre. 5. Bake in the centre of the oven for 55-60 minutes. 6. Remove from the tin as soon as it comes out of the oven.
