Cultivated from the wild beets found around the coasts of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, beetroot is native to the Mediterranean. With nothing other than pure beetroot, excipient free.

Beetroot is a good source of iron and folate (naturally occuring folic acid). It also contains nitrates betaine, magnesium and other antioxidants (noatbly betacyanin). More recent health claims suggest beetroot can help lower blood pressure, boost exercise performance.
