A good source of protein, this natural sweetener is produced from organically grown, prime English barley in a variation of the same process that produces beer. Like other unrefined sweeteners, it has a higher concentration of vitamins and minerals. The taste is delicate and sweet and is ideal on cereal, for baking, glazing and adding to sauces or hot milk.

100% Organic barley malt extract.

Rayner's recommend one tablespoonful per day dissolved in warm water or milk, spread on toast or toast or over cereals and, of course, it can be used in baking cakes and biscuits.

Not suitable for those with allergies to Barley.
