Plain activated walnuts, really allow you to fully taste the difference after the activation process.
Conventional walnuts have a bitter after taste- which disappears after activation.
The colour is also different, as the tannins (which create dark shading) have seeped out in to the water.

Walnuts are an excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids – so a perfect addition to vegetarian and vegan diets.
We really recommend these as a snack, crumbled on to salads and used in place of walnuts in recipes.
