Once cooked, the grain is two-tone! Its texture, which is firmer than that of white quinoa, is more suited to savoury dishes and is perfect mixed with other grains to add a touch of colour. Source of fibre and protein. Cooking advises: Rinse then cook 1 part Red Quinoa to 2 parts water in a covered pan for 15 minutes before seasoning. Can be eaten hot or cold in a salad, like rice. Use 60g of quinoa per person.
