Of The Earth Superfoods Organic Dried Yacon Syrup has a malty taste and is a versatile ingredient to use in sweet recipes, in place of sugar or simply drizzled across dessert or to sweeten tea. Yacon contains fructooligosaccharides (FOS). FOS sugars pass through the body undigested, so yacon only contains about half the calories of an average sugar source. It also has a prebiotic effect, which promotes colon and digestive health.
