Organico speciality rice is grown and packed for us in Biancé in the heart of the century-old rice fields of the Northern Po valley.

Cooking time: 30 minutes

This is a whole grain or "brown" red rice that works well with fish or vegetable dishes and in cold rice salads or pilaf. It has a deeply aromatic, slightly nutty flavour and keeps it's structure well. Simply boil in plenty of water with a pinch of salt for 35-40 minutes, drain, add butter or oil and season according to taste.
