Our ready-made Asparagus Risotto is produced by the Picco family in the Po valley, directly from the rice that they grow in their traditional Cascina using a secret family bouillon as a base.

The Picco family have been farming these rice fields now for 5 generations using the water run-off from the Alps.

Organic, Grown and packed on the farm, Vegan

Carnaroli Rice* (92%), Asparagus* (2.8 %), Natural Sea Salt, Rice Flour*, Onion*, Celery*, Carrot*, Parsley*, Leek*, Extra Virgin Olive Oil*, Corn Starch*, Miso* (Soya*, Rice*, Water, Salt, Koji), Yeast Extract, Spices*, *From organic farming

Shallow Fry - From Ambient. Place a knob of butter in a pan, add a small glass of wine (circa 100ml) or vermouth, stir in the contents of the pack and heat for 2 minutes. Now add 700ml of water and boil for a further 15 minutes. Remove from heat, add extra virgin olive oil or butter and a sprinkling of freshly grated parmesan cheese. Mix well. Add fresh parsley to garnish. Serves 3-4.
