Freekeh is a green wheat harvested when young and then roasted to create a distinctive smokey flavour. It can be served cold straight from the pack with its chewy texture working well in salads or it can be warmed and used as a side dish with chicken or fish.

Cooking Instructions - General. To eat cold: Serve straight from pouch.; Hob - From Ambient. Bring half a pan of water to the boil and place the pouch unopened into the boiling water. Simmer for 10 minutes, then tear open and serve.; Microwave - From Ambient. Tear open by 1cm and heat using the guidelines below.
