Lima Kamut Couscous 500g

Couscous made from organic wholegrain Kamut brand khorasan wheat. Kamut is higher in protein and many minerals, expecially zinc, selenium, and magnesium, compared to modern wheat. Usage: Kamut couscous can be used as easily as wheat couscous, it can be served as such or in combination with raw or fried vegetables, or as an alternative to rice and grains

Kamut is the ancestor of durum wheat and has a higher nutritional value than wheat (durum wheat is mainly used in pasta, unlike wheat that is well suited for cakes and breads). The grain is rich in protein (40% more than regular wheats), is low in total fat and saturated fat and is very rich in fiber. The Kamut couscous is made from the middle part of the Kamut. This is pre-cooked and dried, thus getting his specific views. Couscous is a key ingredient in traditional Moroccan cuisine. Definitely worth a try!
