The ultimate fitness food, each complete with 7 vegan protein sources, omega EFA rich seeds and alkalising slow release carbohydrates that deliver a satisfying crunch and provide essential fuel. Made with a Delicious Berry Mix. Includes wonder fruit goji berries, an extremely nutrient-dense fruit which contains 18 amino acids, including 8 essential amino acids, 21 trace minerals, including zinc, iron, copper, calcium, germanium, selenium, and phosphorus and are an incredibly rich source of carotenoids and vitamins B1, B2, B6, and vitamin. Coloured with beetroot juice which is rich in iron, boron and folic acid and anti-oxidants and the E. Wheat and Barley grasses have proven anti-inflammatory benefits and are rich in chlorophyll, amino acids, minerals, vitamins and enzymes that aid detoxification. Raw juice is then dehydrated into powder to allow access to nutrients inside the cells that our teeth can not break in to! These bites contain all essential amino acids. An incredible source of minerals - such as calcium, magnesium and selenium - it is also rich in carotenoids which provide vitamin A, enhance the immune system and protect the body from free radicals, as well as B-vitamins 1, 2 3, 6, 9 and contains exceptionally high levels of vitamin K. Almonds are low in saturated fat and high in magnesium, phosphorous, zinc and are the best available wholefood source of vitamin E, as well as containing calcium and folic acid. They are packed full of phytochemicals; non-nutritive plant chemicals that have protective or disease preventive properties, such as antioxidant and antibacterial content and are proven stimulators of enzymes which aid digestion. Almonds are protein rich and contain no cholesterol and are a great source of healthy fibre. Sunflower Seeds are an excellent source of vitamin E, phytotesterols that enhance the immune system, magnesium which lowers blood pressure and builds healthy bones and selenium, a trace mineral essential for good health. Buckwheat is a fruit seed that is a complete protein that contains eight essential amino acids. Buckwheat is also rich in B-complex vitamins, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper and manganese and is also a good source of Alpha-Linolenic Acid, one of the two essential fatty acids. High in fibre, buckwheat lowers glucose levels and is beneficial for managing diabetes. It has been found to lower blood pressure and reduce cholesterol and is a gluten-free alternative to grains. Quinoa is a seed related to the spinach family that is commonly believed to be a grain. It is full of antioxidants and phytonutrients which is why it has been given superfood status. Not only is quinoa a complete protein that contains 9 essential amino acids - the body's building blocks for muscles - it is also high in magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, copper, manganese and fibre. Quinoa also acts as a prebiotic that feeds the good bacteria in your intestines and is easily absorbed for optimum nutrition. Millet is another pseudo grain that is actually a seed packed with vitamins and minerals. It is particularly high in magnesium, calcium, manganese, tryptophan, phosphorus, fibre, B-complex vitamins and antioxidants. This advantageous combination is reported to lower cholesterol, aid fat metabolism and body repair and provide energy. Flax seeds are a rich source of omega 3 fatty acids, Alpha-Linolenic Acid, antioxidants and fibre. Low in carbohydrates and high in B-complex vitamins, magnesium and manganese, flax seeds are a powerhouse of phytochemicals and perhaps the best available food source of lignans, a phytoestrogen that reduces free radicals. Chia seeds are another superfood. When soaked in water, they absorb up to nine times their volume in water. This gel helps keep the body hydrated and is also 90% soluble fibre. Chia seeds are an excellent source of omegas 3 and 6, have twice the protein of any other seed or grain, five times the calcium of milk and contain boron which is a trace mineral that helps transfer calcium to bones.
