Later on, the health benefits of the herringrich Icelandic diet was discovered. This might hold the key to Icelanders well known longevity. Herring fish oil, natural flavouring, natural astaxanthin (Haematococcus pluvialis), natural mixed tocopherols as antioxidant, Vitamin A (retinyl palmitate) and Vitamin D (cholecalciferol).
