This super algae is a microscopic blue green algae in a single cell form. It occurs naturally in many fresh water environments including rivers, lakes and tropical springs. Under a microscope, it appears as long thin spiral threads, hence the name. This wonderful blue green algae has evolved over billions of years and is very adaptable to allow it to survive in many extreme conditions. The taste and smell is similar to seaweed and it's scientific name is Arthrospira Plantensis.
