Emile Noel, Organic, Extra Virgin, Fruity Olive Oil is a cold pressed oil made from the mechanical extraction of oils from a variety of olives including the Picuda variety, which gives the oil a particular rich fruitiness to its flavour. Being a raw, unprocessed oil, it can set like a gel, even at a low room temperature, but it easily warmed and returns to its flowing state but this peculiarity means you are getting a full bodied, highly flavoured oil that has been extracted delicately to preserve the nature of the fruit. It is particularly recommended for Mediterranean dressings. It is naturally rich in Omega 9 (75%) and Vitamin E (20mg/100g). The oil is great used cold, but can also be used in cooking with a smoke point of 210 deg. Centigrade making it suitable for all cooking in the kitchen.

This superior category oil is cold-pressed from a selection of different ripe olives like the Picuda olive which brings a balanced fruitiness with aromas of fresh olives. This Fruity selection sets itself apart with its stronger fresh olive, apple and almond aromas. On the palate, it has a more zesty flavour, without being dominated by green or ripe fruit. This oil reveals herbaceous and green plant notes. Recommended for your goat's cheese salads, pan-fried vegetables as well as marinades for barbecued meat, fish and prawns.

It takes an average of 5kg of olives to make 1 litre of oil. The olives are stored as briefly as possible (at most 2-3 days). The sorted olives are cleaned with water. Stone grinding: the whole olives are ground to tear the cells of the fruit (pulp, stone and kernel) and thus release the oil. Kneading is essential to facilitate oil release and improve yield. The oil is separated from the vegetation water by centrifugation. This pure, untreated fruit juice, produced at low temperature (30-40°C) is wholly natural. The designation "extra virgin olive oil" is given to oil with acidity below 0.8% (EU legislation).

Particularly recommended for all Mediterranean-type dressings but also everyday cooked dishes.
