As farmers and millers since 1978, we care about how our grains are grown. We believe in growing grains slowly and tenderly and how we make our flour really matters to us – the ingredients, the flavour, the provenance and the effect on our planet.

At Doves Farm we have been milling historic, heritage grains since 1978. These grains were once abandoned in favour of modern wheat varieties for their higher crop yield, but we have led the way in reintroducing the grains loved by our ancestors back into the UK. We mill our organic ancient grains using the traditional stone grinding technique, a method that has remained largely unchanged from ancient times.
