Cotswold Health Products Ground Mustard 50g

Ground Mustard (Brassica juncea) givesa citrussy, horseradish flavour perfect to compliment a range of dishes and cuisines. Meat, egg and dairy dishes can be enhanced with the addition of a pinch of mustard powder: an essential ingredient helping bring out the flavours in a variety of foods. Mixing Mustard Powder into a paste will make traditional mustard, use as a condiment with meats, cheese and egg recipes.

When making mustard, mix with water and leave for at least ten minutes to allow the flavours to develop. Water reacts with the volatile oils in mustard to produce its unique, hot tangy flavour.
