Clearspring Quick Cook Organic is a range of convenient, appealing and nourishing grains. The combination of cereals, peas and lentils are designed to provide a delicious yet healthy addition to any meal. Steam and hot air are used to precook the grains and reduce cooking time by two thirds whilst retaining the nutritional content. This 5 grain combination is packed full of healthy grains; a delicious mix of the familiar and the unusual. Both Emmer wheat and khorasan wheat are ancient grains retaining their original nutrition and flavour components. While Emmer wheat originated in Persia, khorasan wheat, twice the size of modern day wheat, originated in Egypt.

Emmer wheat*(35%), barley*(28%), long grain brown rice*(22%), KAMUT® khorasan wheat*(10%), whole grain oats*(5%).

Bring a large pan of water to the boil with a pinch of salt if required. Add the grains (80g per serving) and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain and season to taste.

For Soup:

Bring water or stock (400ml per serving) to the boil with a pinch of salt if required.
Add the grains (80g per serving) along with fresh vegetables if desired.
Simmer for 10 minutes or until all the ingredients are cooked.
Season to taste.

*Not recommended for microwaves.
