A nutritious and delicious multi-grain cereal, usually served hot and which contains all the health-giving nutrients of the grains from which it is ground.
It is gluten free and wheat free and a great alternative to oat porridge.
Bring water/milk and a little salt to boil, add in your cereal and cook gently for ten minutes.
Ideally served with honey or brown sugar and milk.
Add a little fruit and nuts for extra nutrition and even more taste!
Whole Grain Brown Rice, Whole Grain Millet, Whole Grain White Sorghum, Whole Grain Buckwheat.
For a savoury hot breakfast cereal bring 200ml water and a pinch of salt to a boil. Stir in 40g cereal and immediately turn heat to very low, continuing to stir until cereal and water are blended. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with honey or brown sugar and milk. Add almost any fruit or nuts to increase your breakfast nutrition.
Store in a cool, dry place.
