Barkat Gluten Free baking powder is an excellent raising agent. It should be used where sensitivity to gluten and wheat prevent use of standard baking powder. Use as directed whenever the recipe calls for a raising agent.

Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, Calcium Sulphate.

Baking powder is usually used instead of yeast to lift cakes and biscuits. For most recipes, mix 1-2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder per half-kilo (pound) of flour for best effect.
