An artisan product crafted by hand using 100% natural ingredients, produced to an original recipe dating to 1878 which may be used to support a healthy digestive system. The biscuits may be also eaten as an excellent compliment with cheese and pate's or alternately the biscuits can just be eaten on thier own as a snack.

The earliest recorded use of charcoal dates back to 1500 B.C, in present times we tend to use Activated Charcoal, which is highly refined and a more potent material than common forms of charcoal. Our Activated Charcoal is produced from Coconut husks grown in Malaysia and is suitable for Vegetarians. Traditionally Activated charcoal is is used to reduce the build up of gases and bloating in the digestive system, the product contains 7% fibre which also asists in digestive transit.

Activated Charcoal, BPC 1934, 2% w/w per biscuit. Also contains:stone ground whole meal flour, unbleached white flour, butter, raw cane sugar, malt, raising agent (sodium bicarbonate).

Contains milk, gluten and may contain traces of eggs, nuts, mustard and sesame.
